The Bottom Line: Exellent game, full of interesting features and gameplay possibilities, beautiful graphics and definetly a truly satisfying sequel, worth the cash this christmas and i'm sure your kids won't be dissapointed
I just bought this little gem of a game about 3 weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it yet! From the colourful, high-resolution graphics to the easy to master controls this game is truly amazing compared to the lesser version first brought out, 'super smash bros.'. The wide variety of characters is tailored to suit anyone including beginners and the beautiful backdrops for the actual battles looks almost hand painted. It is well designed and features 100's of hours of game play with loads of different features and possible tournaments and tests. You can select different weapons, which can appear on screen in battles to aid you in defeating your opponent(s). The weapons range from convenient and simple swords, to wild and wonderful classics we will recognise from other games for example the fairy wand or Kirby's characteristic paper fan. As you go along you can win trophies, which are little frozen replicants of characters or other features such as vehicles or items from other games. When you have reached so many trophies, out of a possible 300, you have completed the main part of the game. Any reward on the game feels thoroughly satisfying, and my personal favourite was un-locking completely new characters from old favourites to modern creations such as sheik, the mysterious character Princess Zelda changes into in the game 'Ocarina of Time'.
