Noisy and Annoying

I really regret having bought this. I can't believe how loud the unit is. I have it in my living room, 12 x 16, and have to turn the TV volume all the way up if I want to be slightly cool while watching TV.

The knob to switch between the fan and the AC broke on mine and I am having a hard time finding a replacement part.

The other reviewers are right about the annoying way to empty the water. It's a good thing it is so loud that I don't use it often enough to empty it often.

My room is larger than the recommended size, but at full blast the room is still quite hot. Usually any air conditioning is too cold for me--this would be the exception. Even if I stand directly in front of it with it on its coldest temperature, it's warmer than opening up the refrigerator.

Don't buy this air conditioner.
