Electricity Eater that Needs a Diaper

Yesterday, I went into town to get a few things among
them a Crock Pot. I have needed an iron for a long time
and since they were in back of me I thought I may as well
buy one now and get it over with. My old iron
stopped steaming a long time ago so I had to spray clothes.
I picked this iron because I liked the retracting cord
and the easy to read water level.

Today I used it for the first time. It felt like I was
ironing with a row boat. It seems huge compared to my
old one. About 15 minutes into the ironing it began leaking even though it claims DRIP FREE on the box!
That evening, I returned to the room and noticed the iron
was blinking. Oh great I said to myself I forgot to turn it
off. I grabbed the handle and noticed it was warm and also
the knob was turned to OFF. I then touched the sole plate
and it was cold,sigh. It has an instant on feature, something I absolutely do not want on an iron.
If you want it truly off, you have to unplug it. This iron will be returned to the store if I can find the
slip.
