Date of Review:  Mar 30, 2007
The Bottom Line: I am very disappointed in this iron. Sunbeam used to make top of the line small appliances. This is what happens when China makes our products.
Review: Yesterday, I went into town to get a few things among
them a Crock Pot. I have needed an iron for a long time
and since they were in back of me I thought I may as well
buy one now and get it over with. My old iron
stopped...

Sunbeam 4214

Date of Review:  Aug 24, 2007
Review: I have one and I hate it, it says "no leak" on the box but leaks all over my clothes when I try to iron. The iron really doesn't see like it heats up good enough to iron your clothes. Sunbeam use to have top of the line everything but this iron is...

WORST iron EVER!

Date of Review:  Apr 8, 2008
Review: I bought and returned TWO different irons made by Sunbeam. They were both the worst irons I have ever bought. Unfortunately, I had already thrown away my old iron, but was tempted to go retrieve it from the trash. ANYTHING is better than Sunbeam...

Disappointed Test Run

Date of Review:  Aug 26, 2005
Review: While on vacation I used my friend Amy's iron and discovered that all the irons I have ever owned have been junk. She had a Proctor Silex Clear Steam 14429. After using it on about 25 pieces of clothing, I was determined to own one of my own...

Left-Handed?

Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2007
Review: I purchased this iron because of the retractable cord. It comes out of the iron on the top right side so if you iron with your left hand, you will be fighting the cord all the while you are ironing. I am left-handed but iron with my right most of...
