The Bottom Line: If you're a serious baker who is looking for a heavy duty mixer that will last a generation or two, this is for you.
Review: I learned to cook on a true vintage Sunbeam Mix Master - my mother's model from the 1950's. I grew up with it and when I got my first job in the early 1970's I bought my own stainless Mix Master. It was my first purchase for my "hope chest".

Not My Cup of Tea

The Bottom Line: Price not bad but the first batch of cookies I found the bowl is too small, mix rides up the whips onto mixer and out of the bowl.
Review: I was given this mixer as an anniversary gift. The mixer dose a very good job of mixing, the speeds are very versatile (you can choose the exact speed you want) and fairly easy to clean. Unless you are mixing a very small cookie, cake or bread...

Tired of Trying These

Review: I went through 3 of these. If you think the sunbeam is a replacement for a heavy duty workhorse, you're mistaken. All 3 of mine either broke down after 6 to 8 months, or the motor burned up. Never again. I'm buying a Kitchen Aid with some stamina.
