I'm a mixin' fool!

I got my Sunbeam mixer for Christmas although I really wanted the heavy-duty one I saw at Costco ($249). I've made cookies and muffins with it so far and it really beats (no pun intended) the heck out of hand mixing. I would like to make bread next, but I'm wondering how it will handle the load. It does have bread hooks, so I'm assuming it was tested in this capacity. There does seem to be some excessive play in the turntable as others have noted. The turntable also has a knob that allows it to be removed for a thorough cleaning, which is a plus. It looks great and reminds me of my Mother's old mixer. When you tilt the head up, you need to make sure it locks into place, otherwise it may unexpectedly fall back down while you manipulate the mixing bowl. Overall, I think it's a good product and will suit my needs for years to come.
