Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Pros: Seats, acceleration, sunroof, storage, view, stereo, lots of outlets, brakes, turns well

Cons: average mileage in town, weird Subaru engine noises, slow setting on wipers is too fast

The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a safe, reliable vehicle then I would go for it. This car would be perfect for a family. Don't let its square looks deceive you!

I just got this car a few months ago because I needed something to replace my old car. My mom wanted me to get a Subaru because of their good reputation. I drove it and liked it a lot but thought that I should shop around. Nothing I drove compared to the Forester (turbo version) so we went back and bought it. I really like it. I needed a car that would hold A LOT of stuff because I drive back and forth from college to home fairly often, but I didn't want a massive SUV. This car is so perfect for me. It is roomy, but not too big and still gets decent mileage (26-28 hwy.)It is so easy to see out of this car (no blind spots!) The MASSIVE sunroof is awesome, the stereo sounds good, I love the seats and its so fast and fun to drive. The car has very light handling so if you don't like that in a vehicle I would test drive this several times before buying. I don't mind it and I like the way the car drives. This car has a rear windshield wiper which really excites me since my old car didn't. I love this car, and everyone I know likes it. Even my friends who call it "the brick on wheels" like it.
