Check engine light problems with 2000 Forester

The Bottom Line: Because of the extremly poor customer service and the frequent mechanical problems this is not a car I would recommend to anyone

Great SUV!

Review: I got rid of my gas guzzeling, expensive to maintain Land Rover and purchased my Forester 6 months ago. What a fantastic car. I can load it up with the horse gear, do some light off-roading but it handles like a dream and gets fantastic gas mileage...

Review: The fact that we own a Subaru Outback and a Subaru Forester probably indicates that we like Subarus! The 2000 Forester L is the newest of our Subarus.

For a while we considered getting a 4WD SUV, but the low gas mileage was a concern...
