Author's Review

The best car I ever owned. I'd never buy any car but a Subaru again. I bought this product because I liked the body design and simplicity of the automobile. My Brat is 20 years old; I wouldn't trade it for any other car.

I love the Brat's design. It has a slight lift at the back, excellent room in the bed for a small truck for hauling and moving, and a comfortable cabin. I've taken excellent care of my car: the paint still looks great. My Brat is a standout on the road because of its unique look and great design.

The engine is in great shape and I understand that the Subaru Brat engines get anywhere between 250,000-300,000 miles. The car still cruises at 70-75 mph with no effort.

If you take care of this car, you won't need another for a long time. Tip: use good-quality, premium gas and 20-50 wt. oil for better engine performance. The 1986 Brat will last years if you take good care of the car.
