Pros:  Some great interviews with good insights on the industry...a magazine about the new economy

Cons:  Writers tend to ramble too much...articles go on and on

I was attracted to this magazine by its cover. I was turned off by the first few pages. When I got to the content page, I found an interview that urged me to read on. After reading the interview, I realized how this magazine is something different for each reader. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Here is what you are expected to read about in this magazine:

1. Each article seems to give you a detailed idea of the new marketing in this new economy. Most of these articles are authored or ca-authored by some authority in the field. That's it! You won't find much. These articles are right to the point. You can read some examples and comparisons here and there.
2. The interviews are conducted with those who have known success in the industry.
3. The articles are full of the jargon of the new economy. You will feel like investing in your future as you read this magazine.
4. Most of the articles and interviews may not attract you. In other words, you may not find much. So wait for the next issue.

I will admit that I don't like its format. It gives me the feeling of reading a book. It is my opinion that it can't be compared with the likes of The Red Herring, The Industry Standard, Business 2.0 etc. Strategy & Business has a long way to go before it can catch up with these magazines.

Just like me, you can browse over this magazine to see whether your investment is going to be worth it. If you find some good article, then you can purchase it. So far, I only found one article I really wanted to read. It is up to you to make up your mind.
