The Bottom Line: Classic escapist Star Wars fun for the whole family.
Review: A long time ago in a movie theatre not so far, far away, a thirteen-year-old kid with a love for all things Science Fiction got his first glimpse into a futuristic galaxy filled with incredible characters. That kid was me, of course, and the galaxy in...

Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (2002)

by   yakkowarner ,  Feb 13, 2009
Pros:   Good development of Anakin, Fun, good pacing.
Cons:   Missing some needed emotions.
The Bottom Line:

It may be third in line, but didn't miss second by much. A must see film for any Sci-Fi fan.

Review:   I consider this my third favorite movie of the series. First and second being V and IV respectively. It had good pacing and a good story. And of course the special effects are top notch, which we have come to expect from Lucas and ...

Much Better The Second Time Around

by   dbcint ,  Aug 18, 2003
Pros: The whole thing! The chase scene near the beginning and Yoda's battle are stand-outs though.
Cons: Love story between Anakin & Padme is just terrible.
The Bottom Line: If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ve probably already seen it. If you’re not, I suggest you see the films in the order they were made.
Review: With a saga like Star Wars, there's always going to be some debate when a new movie comes out ...

by   jackiechad ,  May 24, 2004
Pros: Great CG, great story, great characters
Cons: some not so great comic relief by C-3PO
The Bottom Line: Awesome and well done movie. You want it, need it, get it now!
Review: It’s generally easy for people to figure out my favorite movie. I have Star Wars on my desktop at work; Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Max Rebo, and other favorite toys scattered about my home office; a framed autograph of Carrie Fisher; and other such clues. ...

Episode II: Size Matters Not!

by   BaronSamedi3 ,  May 18, 2005
Pros: Yoda opens a freakin' 24-pack of whoopa**!
Cons: Hayden Christenson's performance is more wooden than a log cabin.
The Bottom Line: Yes, I re-wrote my original review. If you complain, I'll cut off your fingers with a lightsaber.
Review: I thought it odd at first that Yoda has to use a cane to walk, but during his big fight scene with Count Dooku, he suddenly morphs into the whirling green tornado, literally flying off the walls, throwing himself everywhere, and generally making ...

Lucas Be DeMille?

by   lansky2000 ,  May 30, 2002
Pros: Best since "The Empire Strikes Back"...
Cons: Critics' pans about dialogue may not prove unsubstantial...
The Bottom Line: Unprecedented F/X, solid performances and series continuity make this the best since Vader vs. Han/Leia in "Empire"...
Review: When the smoke clears after the 1st Great Box-Office Battle of the 21st Century, critics and advisor clones alike will still be missing the point. The Star Wars series isn't about ticket sales, redeeming social value, dialogue, plot development,...

Pros: Storyline, characters, acting, sets, effects, music, etc.
Cons: C3PO has too much dialog, Jar Jar in the senate, 3 yrs. till ep.3
The Bottom Line: The grand vision of Star Wars has been realized in Episode 2
