Christmas WHO?

Great fun for all ages, this Spongebob Christmas DVD is the perfect present all year round. If only there were more Christmas specials! There are actually only two Christmas/Winter-themed episodes: "Christmas Who?" and "Snowball Effect."

"Christmas Who?" is hilarious and extra cool because it's double-length! It not only features Spongebob and the regular gang, but Patchy the Pirate and his sidekick parrot, Potty. This is the episode where Sandy introduces the concept of Christmas to Bikini Bottom and sends Spongebob into a whirlwind of anticipation and excitement. Needless to say, he gets all of BB to congregate and send letters to Santa, managing to drive Squidward absolutely insane in the process.

There are 8 extra episodes, but like I said, only one other that is reminiscent of Christmas. That doesn't really bother me much, though, since I bought this DVD merely for the "Christmas Who?" episode, which had been engraved in my brain since I caught it on T.V.

Having your favorite episode on DVD is reward enough, but having 8 additional fun-filled episodes ("Snowball Effect," "Procrastination," "Survival of the Idiots," "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy IV," "Chocolate with Nuts," "As Seen on TV," "Pizza Delivery," and "Squeaky Boots") to pause, rewind and repeat as many times as you wish is a great incentive to shell out the $10 for this DVD.
