Spongebob Squarepants Christmas – great holiday kids movie

I am a huge fan of Spongebob as is my daughter so naturally this was a must have for our collection. It features 9 different episodes, one which is a double feature. The double feature is the only “Christmas” episode. It is Rated G and is 110 minutes in length. The episodes on this DVD collection are as follows:

Christmas Who?

Sandy is surprised that Spongebob does not know anything about Santa and Christmas. So after she tells him the story of Christmas, Spongebob goes around Bikini Bottom and gets everyone excited about the arrival of Santa. But on Christmas, he doesn’t come and Spongebob is very disappointed. Who’s going to cheer him up when he is down?

Procrastination:

In driving school, Mrs. Puff assigns an essay to be due the following day. Spongebob is so excited to write the essay, but when he gets home from school he finds every excuse to not work on the essay. How will he ever finish in time?

Snowball Effect:

It has snowed in Bikini Bottom and that brings on a huge snowball fight between Patrick and Spongebob. Being the neighbor in between, Squidward is tired of having to listen to them. He goes outside to yell at them, and he gets in the middle of all the action. Now he decides that a snowball fight might not actually be all that bad!

Survival of the Idiots:

It’s the time of the year when Sandy goes into hibernation. She leaves a not for Spongebob and Patrick to stay out of her dome and leave her alone. Of course, they cannot resist. What they didn’t realize is that once inside, they would not be able to leave!

Mermaidman and Barnacleboy IV:

Mermaidman drops and loses his special belt and Spongebob finds it. But before he decides to give it back he shrinks everything in Bikini Bottom and makes a terrible mess all over!

Chocolate with Nuts:

Spongebob and Patrick decide to sell chocolate bars to make some extra money. At first they were unsuccessful. They had to devise a plan that would work. So they think that lying will make them more money.

As Seen on TV:

Spongebob is on a commercial for the Krusty Krab and he appears for only a split second. After the commercial airs, people approach him about it. But Spongebob is so excited that he thinks that everyone just wants his autograph.

Pizza Delivery:

Squidward and Spongebob have to go on a pizza delivery for Mr. Krabs. Squidward foolishly lets Spongebob drive for the delivery and gets them lost in the middle of no where. Will they ever get back?

Squeaky Boots:

Mr. Krabs is a very cheap man. He convinces Spongebob to purchase from him a pair of old Squeaky Boots as he calls them “fry cook boots”. Spongebob is so thrilled with his new boots that he wears them all the time. Now he is annoying everyone with the boots.

I would highly recommend this Dvd collection to any Spongebob fan or to any child. Spongebob is very funny yet he is very educational. This movie is great family fun and we watch it over and over again. A++
