Spider-Man is unbeliveable. I can't put it into words how I felt as I started up the game and heard the jammin' remix of the '60s 'toon. Then, I started to play the game. No, my training comes after I get the feel for the game. The rush you get from jumping off a building and falling, then at the last second shooting out a web is awesome. Plus, you get to perform many different web attacks, keeping in with the feel of Spidey's character. You can trap somebody in a web, create a web shield, form web spikes on your fists, and shoot an impact web.
Adding to the awesome gameplay are the awesome cinemas. They are well done, fluidly showcasing the best of the Playstation's graphics. Also, they are always entertaining, whether revealing a mystery, just being plain funny, or showing an exciting piece of action.
Speaking of cinemas, the game's plot is awesome, showcasing the best of Spidey's rogues gallery and placing them into a fast-paced story which never lets up. Even when villains cross the fine line between good and evil, the action (and comedy) never lets up. My favorite cinema is the last one, which holds a lot of guest appearances by other Marvel heroes which appear sporadically throughout the game.
Overall, Spider-Man is a game that pleases both fans and non-fans, a game that has finally broken the bad-comic-game-barrier.
