Southpark Season 3: Hilarious

I love South Park and I love watching old TV series on DVD. What is better than watching your old favorites without all the commercials? My husband and I have been collecting the South Park seasons and this particular one is great. It has three disks which feature all seventeen episodes from the season. It has a runtime of 374 minutes and is not rated; however I would not let children watch South Park as it has some crude humor. The episodes on this collection are as follows:

Rainforest Shmainforest:

Jennifer Aniston is a guest star as Mrs. Stevens in this episode. The four boys travel all the way to Costa Rica as part of the “Getting Gay with Kids” choir tour. But in their travels, their guide is killed off and now they are lost. Will they ever find their way out of the rainforest?

Spontaneous Combustion:

The people of South Park are exploding at random with no explanation. The Mayor calls upon Stan’s father to help in solving the problem. In the meantime, the boys are working on an odd plan to help with his problems in the bedroom.

The Succubus:

Chef is getting married! He has finally found the girl of his dreams and is ready to settle down. The four boys are upset though because they feel that they are going to be losing him. His parents arrive from Scotland after encountering the Loch Ness Monster.

Jakovasaurs:

While camping at Stark’s Pond, the boys discover a prehistoric creature called the Jakovasaurs. People have been trying to keep this species alive, but soon realize they reproduce way too fast. Now they want to get rid of them all and send them to France!

Tweek vs. Craig:

There is a big fight in shop class between Tweek and Craig. Cartman teaches Craig how to Sumo Wrestle and fellow classmates Ned and Jimbo teach Tweek how to box. Kenny is afraid of the belt sander and tries to stay as far away from it as possible.

Sexual Harrassment Panda:

The “Sexual Harrassment Panda” educates the boys’ class and then Cartman decides that he wants to sue Stan for sexual harassment.

Cat Orgy:

All the kids in South Park are over at Mr. Mackey’s house to watch the meteor shower, except Cartman who is at home being babysat. His babysitter invites her boyfriend and his band over and Cartman’s cat is searching the neighborhood for some lovin.

Two Guys Naked In A Hottub:

Stan’s parents drag him to the meteor shower party where he is stuck downstairs. People are convinced that the people that are at this party are in a cult which they will all commit suicide when the meteor shower arrives.

Jewbilee:

This episode is so funny. Kenny joins Kyle at his Jewish camp. He does not belong there because he is not Jewish. Moses appears in the middle of the night. The rest of the group gets trapped in a cabin and Kenny has to rescue them before it is too late.

Korn’s Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery:

This is a Halloween episode. Fellow fifth graders are plotting against the four boys. But what they do not know is that the boys are doing the same.

Chinpoko Mon:

All the kids in South Park are hooked on these Japanese toys. But what they didn’t know is that they put anti American messages in the toys secretly. The Japanese are trying to send hidden messages to bomb Pearl Harbor again.

Hooked on Monkey Phonics:

The boys are competing against home schooled children in the annual spelling bee. To help Eric win, his mother gives him the Hooked on Money Phonics system to help assist him.

Starvin’ Marvin in Space:

The four boys are helping Starvin’ Marvin find a place for his staving people to live. They run in to some trouble along the way.

The Red Badge Of Gayness:

The whole town of South Park has turned out for the annual reenactment of the Civil War Battle. Cartman has visions of glory as he is betting with two of his friends so that he can make them his slaves for a month.

Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics:

This is a Christmas episode. Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo has turned out some of his favorite holiday classics. This is quite funny as well.

Are You There God? It’s Me Jesus:

People show up at Jesus’ home for New Years Eve. Cartman is going through puberty and Stan feels left out. He takes some pills to jumpstart the process but it takes a turn for the worst.

World Wide Recorder Contest:

The kids of South Park are on a trip to the 4 Million Child Blow 2000. Cartman is obsessed to find out where the brown noise is, which is the note on the recorder that causes people to lose control of their bowels.

I would definitely recommend Season Three of South Park to any fan because there are so many great episodes on this collection. I do have to admit if you are trying to collect them all, it can get very expensive so I recommend them as gift items or look for them used or on sale at your local electronics store.
