Sophie's Choice made me think about the freedom we take for granted in the United States. Sophie's Choice is about a women that must choose between her son or daughter. This is during a war, and she must abadon one of the children. The book is a fictional book, but the author creates a lifelike setting and story plot. Although a bit lengthy, you will wizz through this book in no time. Interesting plot, exciting characters, and the length always attract me to a book, and I can say that Sophie's Choice has all three. This book will be a great gift to anyone who likes to read and think.
