The Bottom Line: Great new contender on the market. Has pretty much everything you could expect from a mid-level digital camera and much much more.
Review: This has to be one of the best digital cameras on the market today. I just got this camera for Christmas 03' and I am very impressed. The cd-350 is the next evolution of the floppy disk cameras. To me, using cd-rw's is the way to go because memory ...

Cons: a bit pricey, slow CD picture/video access (b/c it holds so much information)

A point and shoot perfect for vacations

by   zlmajors ,  Jan 17, 2004
Pros: Unique CD-Rom storage, solid build, many attachments, big lcd screen, long battery life.
Cons: BIG, CD-Rom lowers speed of photos, poor low light performance, a bit pricey.
The Bottom Line: If you want the CD-Rom storage for your pictures, then the Mavica is perfect. If size is your main concern this isn't the right camera. Purely a point and shoot.
Review: I had the opportunity to test out the Sony Mavica 200 a year or two ago and really loved the design of it. I loved the idea of using a CD for the storage and found it really well made. I was of course very curious about the evolution of the mavica line ...

The Bottom Line: Great product from a company that has a reputation for quality.
Review: I already thought highly of my old Mavica CD200 (2.1 mega pixel) camera, of which I bought in the open box form and it worked fine up to the day I sold it. I didn't even want to sell it, but a friend of mine was so impressed with it, and had uses for it ...
