Not worth my time, broke after 10 months of light use

I bought camera for $99 from an authorized Sony dealer during a Christmas sale. Camera worked well for such a small unit.

Don't expect professional quality pictures from this tiny sized camera that can fit into any pocket. People were "wowed" when they saw how small the camera is. I liked it just for that reason, fits in my pants pocket with my wallet, etc.

Full 2Mega Pixel resolution is good for 4x6 prints at your local Wal Mart. I mainly used the camera for web use so VGA resolution was perfect.

After 10 months of VERY light use(barely used the camera), the CCD decided to go south on me! I can view images on the memory stick with the LCD on the camera, but I can't snap any pictures. All pictures come out black. When I am ready to snap a picture, instead of showing the CCD's view, it shows black, which means the CCD is not working.

The camera is still under warranty, but the labor will cost me $130 to fix! I paid $99 for a BRAND NEW/NON-REFURBISHED camera.

The camera was never dropped or mishandled.

I guess I should stay away from Sony.
