Solid Unit, Works As Designed

The Bottom Line: If you need what this machine does, it's a good value and will work well. Do your homework and understand what it does and does not do.
Review: I recently bought a VRD-VC20 slightly used on Ebay. It came with original packaging, software and cable, and the manual is available through Sony online. This is now an outdated unit in Sony s line, but it can be a good value if it suits your needs...

Poorly Conceived and Unsupported Product

The Bottom Line: I would not buy this product unless you are a fan of frustration. The hardware is poor, the software is terrible, and the support is non-existent.

Sony VRDVC20 DVDirect DVD Recorder

Review: This DVD recorder works better than any on the market! I use it almost daily and burn hundreds of DVDs. It never fails. Maybe the poor reviews are the user. Also Sony has great product support on this unit and no I do NOT work for Sony.
