Pros:
Same PS/PS2 "Feel", Bluetooth, long charge
Cons:
No Shock, but really no cons for me
The Bottom Line:
This is what a controller should be for Playstation Fans. Good feel, long life, and sixaxis movement.

Author's Review
I've used Sony Playstation Controllers for years now, so it's by far my favorite Controller. I'm not saying it's better than other brands, but to those of us who are familiar with Sony's controllers, the new sixaxis will feel like home.
Shape: The sixaxis has basically the same shape as all the previous Sony controllers. it's rather small, and all buttons are easy to hit at once. Some complain of hand strain with extended use, I've never have any problems even if playing for hours straight. You basically use the entire controller with your hands to use the sixaxis portion. Your thumbs either hit the familiar X, O, /\, or [] buttons, or go for the two analog joysticks. Then your index fingers hit the L1, L2, R1, and R2 Buttons. The only issue I've seen with the controller comes when watching movies. The L2 and R2 (Fast forward in movies) are so low on the controller (lower than previous playstation controllers) that you sometimes hit them by moving the controller accross the floor, thus messing up the timing of your movie.
Wireless: The wireless on these controllers is great. The PS3 uses bluetooth, so you dont have to point directly towards the PS3 to get a good signal. Any direction works just as good as the next. I've gone in the next room and it still worked great. I've never gone further because there is no need to.
Battery Life: The Battery life is really good on the controllers. I have four controllers and only 2 recharger cables, and I never seem to have a problem with recharging the controllers. A 1 hour charge will last me all day of playing. I'm really bad about remembering to recharge yet I rarely run out.
Beware that the controller does NOT come with a recharging cable, which is sold seperately. You can still use it, and charge on your original cable, but buying another one will cost you 10 bucks. Keep in mind however that this is a standard usb cable, that you can find for other devices and can probably find much cheaper on newegg if it's not a proprietary PS3 cable.
Sixaxis : The sixaxis is sort of like the Wii's remote, in that it senses movement from all directions. I actually prefer the Sixaxis, as you still do movement with joysticks, and only use the sixaxis for steering cars/planes/Dragons/etc. THe movement is strange for people used to joysticks, and I still prefer joystick movement more, but it does bring a new light to game movement, and perhaps one day all games will move this way. It also is very useful in RFOM, where shaking the controller gets biting monsters off you, or "shakes" off fire. It just feels so much better than mashing some button.
I already have 4 of these controllers, and they work great on my PS3. I can have 3 friends over and we all play at once, with just my 2 charging cables. The only thing missing is the shock feature, which is available on some newer controllers coming out.
