Sony MDR-V600 Professional Headphones

I bought my Sony MDR-V600 headphones about 2 years ago. These 'phones sound great for the price. I listened to 10 -12 different headphones from various manufacturers and finally chose these. When comparing, I found that the sound quality of the V600's was matched only by much higher priced units from other companies.
I also noticed that the Sony's were more comfortable than most others on the market. Even very high end stuff wasn't any more comfortable. The value is there for these Sony headphones. The bass is tight and the mids crisp. Most others were either too "muddy" on the low end or too harsh on the highs. These were right on!!
I also like the folding design of these headphones. They fold up and go right into the carry bag that came with them. The cord is only about 4 feet but stretches out well. Also came with 2 different plugs, small for portables and large for full size stuff.
These 'phones are of closed design so everyone in the room doesn't have to listen to your sounds like open designs. They are very well padded on the headpiece and on the ear pieces. Plenty of adjustment available for any member of the house, too. Fantastic piece of hardware!!
