Pros: Sound--Clarity, Bass, Realism, Ambience.

Cons: Ball bearings in swivel grind a bit. :- (

These phones are probably the best bang for your buck out there on the market today! I had a pair of Sony MDR-CD60 phones 6 years ago which were ok. The MDR-V600s however blow away those 'el cheapo $20-$50 CD60s. I use them with my Aiwa HX-TX794 digital stereo/cassette player and Pioneer VSX-D702S receiver. Both allow these phones to produce superb sound anytime I need it.

If you need good quality phones that sound great and you have a little money to burn then these are for you! I paid ~$99 for mine 2 years ago and I am not at all disappointed about them whatsoever. I tell ya Sony sure does make some good quality products. The trick to buying Sony is getting them when they are on sale because Sony products are sometimes not priced for everyone all the time.
