After initially disliking them, I now find that they're perfect.

Pros: Blocks out most external noise, comfortable (after getting used to them)
Cons: Takes time to get used to them, cord seems a little flimsy
The Bottom Line: The best earphones/headphones/etc I've ever used. Love using them, and they're definitely worth the price.
Review: Update (May 21, 2006): Well, after 11 months of very, very heavy usage of these earbuds, they finally died on me last Thursday. I took them off for around an hour, and then the next time I used them again I found that the right bud was dead, and it ...

Pros: Very portable, great sound, great exclusion of outside noise.
Cons: Some cord issues; tight seal required for good sound.
The Bottom Line: Excellent sound quality, highly portable; design really helps to exclude outside noise and focus you on the MUSIC!
Review: I spent a good deal of time looking for a good set of small earphones to go with my Archos GMini 400 player. I think I found them in the MDR-EX51LP. These buds have incredible sound when used correctly. I have used many an ear bud-style headphone based ...

Sony MDR-EH51LP - Perfection on a Budget

Pros: Transparent Music Reproduction. Good Comfort and Fit. Low Price.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: Buy them, as long as you like "in ear" earbuds. If you like accurate music reproduction, you will probably like the Sony MDR-EH51LP earbuds.
Review: These "in ear," semi-isolated earbuds offer many advantages. Earbuds are a very personal item, in part because the fit depends on your ear. Even with the supplied 2 x Small, 2 x Medium, and 2 x Large soft silicon earbuds, I am certain that someone will ...

Pros: Not too pricey, reasonably comfortable and isolating, good extras (case, earpads)
Cons: Make my ears itch, possible to lose bits
The Bottom Line: A good usable choice for people trying to avoid external noise. Not perfect, but probably the most sensible choice for the moment.
Review: I have been using these or similar earphones for the past year or two. I have a love/hate relationship with them: I still haven't found my ideal earphones, but these are a good working compromise. This is not an audiophile's review. I love ...

Pros: Immense bass, comfortable fit, long cord, very durable.
Cons: Absolutely none.
The Bottom Line: I recommend these to anyone who wants to listen to music with excellent fidelity on the cheap.
Review: These are the best headphones I have ever had of all time. I have had just about every kind of headphone out there, and there is no way to beat these and spend as much or less. When I got a Creative Zen V Plus 2GB for my birthday a year ago, I ...

Pros: Lightweight,Deep Bass, Clean sound
Cons: the behind the neck cord design is kind of distracting sometimes
The Bottom Line: Get these if you enjoy deep bass and sound isolating but dont want to carry those big headphones with cups that covers your whole ear.
Review: I bought these headphones because my friend bought the MDR-71 which was like the same thing with the same performance except the 71 has an extension cord, and i don't want that so i got the 51's. I dont regret it the main reason i bought it was because ...

Pros: good bass and treble, decent price, many sized "sleeves"
Cons: case took awhile, those released from feb. 05 - nov. 05 have a cord issue
The Bottom Line: These headphones have excellent sound, comfort, durability, and price. These are a good bet.
Review: After trying various earbuds, I decided to get some high-quality headphones. There were many choices to choose from. I could have gone with the Shure E2C's, but those were near twice the price of these. I didn't want to go below the $40 mark. Sound - ...

Pros: Accurate sound reproduction, BASS!!! Fit snugly in my ears and don't pop out.
Cons: Expensive replacement rubber ear bud covers if you lose them.
Review: These replaced the ones that came with my MP3 player. I love how strong the bass is and how good they sound when compared to more expensive headphones. I have some much more expensive regular headphones and these sound comparable, and have better bass!! ...

Pros: Lightweight
Silicon head
Single Wire (not double attached wire)
Gold Plated Jack
Bass
Comfort
Cons: Seem to drain battery faster than other buds
Review: Perhaps the best buds I've ever owned. Very lightweight, beautiful sound production (good seal used to create deep bass ). Unit is very comfortable in ear and fits snugly. Ambient noise isolation is on par with some noise canceling headphones, overall ...

Pros: Good price, great sound.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Review: These are just what I was looking for. Perfect for drowning out the outside worked when you just want to get lost in your thoughts or a good book. The price was right ($23.99). So far I have no complaints about this purchase. It even comes with extra ...
