I'LL MAKE IT SHORT - DON'T GET THIS.....

The Bottom Line: After having several low-end printers, and really not wanting to hassle with ink, re-fills, and constant cartridge replacements, I'd seriously consider researching laser printers.
Review: I'm not going to spend much time giving a lengthy review on this thing...just don't get it! Even if they give it to you free as part of a promotional package.

Not for the long haul

The Bottom Line: It won't last, and that's a guarantee.
Review: I used an Epson Stylus Color 800 from the mid 90's to the early 2000's. That printer was a work horse! I couldn't praise it more. When it finally gave out, I replaced it with an Epson Stylus C-84, which seemed to work great right off the bat.

The Bottom Line: Only works when NEW. I am surprised Epson is still making this or one like it. Avoid these unless you are into dissappointment.
Review: We bought this printer when the reviews were great. And it was great at first, but now we cannot use it any longer because the black ink head is clogged and we went through a cartridge of ink trying to clear it. Epson says it should clean the head...

If I could only reach thru the phone to strangle an EPSON techrep!

Review: The printer was working until I went to change to new ink cartridges. I had to retry multiple times. I seems like it wouldn't charge the cartridges. I tried the nozzle check and head cleaning....these tools just sucked up half the ink FROM A BRAND...

An unusually poor product from Epson

The Bottom Line: Do not buy the C84. Despite the low price, it is not worth the cost.
