Initially worth trying.

I am in agreement with 'msarr4....

Definitely clueless on which DVD Burner to choose. Sony DRU840A appeared to offer a wide array of uses, incuding the Nero 7 Essentials software.

After reading 'msarr4....' review, I rechecked the box and noticed Nero 4 is a trial version.  Nero 3 does not state trial version on the box; upon use, it is a trial version (now expired).  Just as discreet as it is, Sony touted the Nero 7 software to gain customer interest! Corporate America wins again!

Pros
For the price, it is worth trying; the ease of use was relatively easy.
Cons
Beyond the trial version, it has become maybe it will work-maybe not.
