Sony offers reliable computer CD/DVD burners

The Bottom Line: I always use Sony drives with no problems at all.

Excellent Drive, Poor Software

Review: Drive is excellent.  Very fast.  Compared w/ my other DVD burners: Plextor PX-850SA, PX-712SA, Sony DRU-830A, DW-G120A, LG GSA-E40L, PBDS DH-16W1S, etc., it is second only to my (expensive) Plextor PX-850SA.

Definitely clueless on which DVD Burner to choose. Sony DRU840A appeared to offer a wide array of uses, incuding the Nero 7 Essentials software.
