Review: Worked fine overall - for a while. I found it slow to start reading discs and to open and close the drawer.

Definitely clueless on which DVD Burner to choose. Sony DRU840A appeared to offer a wide array of uses, incuding the Nero 7 Essentials software.

Cons: The removable face plates (one white, one black) NEVER mate up properly.
