Sony ECM-MS907 Consumer Microphone

I used this to tape concerts and band rehearsals. It works OK, and sounds fairly good, but it has a tendency to lose high-frequency response under loud situations.

I don't really like the mid-side stereo that this microphone employs. Though it does allow for an adjustable microphone angle, it doesn't pick up as well from the sides as I would like, especially with a mono mix through the PA. I get better recordings with two cardioids at a 90-110 degree angle apart.

Oddly enough, the microphone holder doesn't fit any microphone stand I've ever seen.
