Tired of washed out pictures with red eyes?

Pros: Reduce glare. Eliminate red eye. Good range.
Cons: Hard for portrait shots.
The Bottom Line: If you take alot of photos at dark places and hate the washed out look and want to eliminate red eyes, then this flash is for you.
Review: I just recently got this for my Fony DSC-F707. It fits ontop of the "dummy" shoe and it plugs into the acc. terminal on the camera.

The Sony DSC-F707 has a decend built-in flash. But I did not like the red eye reduction feature, takes too...

Good Step Up From Basic

Pros: Rugged. Absolutely reliable.
Cons: Shoe is not hotshoe (used ACC cord only). No swivel.

Better, but not there yet...

Pros: Significantly better than built-in flash on DSC-S70, provides bounce cap.
Cons: Poorly made, harsh intensity, not worth $75-100.
The Bottom Line: Offers significantly improved capability over the built-in on a Cybershot DSC-S70, but doesn't compare to equivalent priced SLR flashes. Inferior plastic hot shoe breaks and cannot be replaced.
