Sound That Rivals Component CD Players from a Portable

The Bottom Line: OK if you like ear-buds. Not much use for driving headphones or stereo gear.
Review: Disappointed. Like so much Sony gear, it's physically noisy, making even stranger whirring noises than my minidisc player. It beeps. At least you can turn the beep off - but will it stay off when I change the batteries? Why would anyone want these...
