Excellent quality

I'm a vocalist and bought this microphone to the hear nuances in my voice using my Olympus DS2 digital voice recorder. It does not disappoint! Using both my Sony microphone and ear phones, I can hear my voice quality better than just listening to my voice with nothing! It is vital in helping me clean up my tones. My quality-needs make an external microphone vital.

I particularly like how the base of the "T" has a hinge so when the recorder and microphone are laying flat I can lift the microphone heads up so it isn't touching the table and I get full sound recording.

Such a small, expensive piece of equipment I thought should have come with a protective pouch. I actually made one out of flannel. The microphone is about 2 inches by 2 inches (T shaped) by 3/4 inch thick.

I bought it because of reading epinion reviews and thought I would add my special needs opinion for others.

I spent $90 for this microphone. It comes with a cord so it doesn't have to plug directly into your recorder but can be a couple of feet away; and a clip to clip on your shirt.
