Sony SNC-RZ30N Network Camera

This camera has all the interface options a person looks for in surveillance hardware. The inclusion of the laptop card slot for wireless network hardware or memory is over-the-top brilliant. It's just unfortunate that the camera is not yet available under $1,000.

I believe that if this camera included 4 megapixel hardware that with that it's price-point should be roughly $900. However, it's the only camera in its class with all the options it has so for die-hard surveillance there is truly no other option currently and businesses that need this technology will be stuck paying for it. Though the still pictures may not be 4 megapixels yet, they are still of excellent quality and my company is storing their images in a SQL Server 2000 database.
