Playstation 3 80 gig

I bought a Playstation 3 about 2 months ago. It is awesome. The 80 gig built in memory doesn't require a memory card and is Playstation 2 compatiable. The 40 gig is not so I shelled out 599.00 for it. the only draw back thus far is there are not alot of games out on the market yet but so far the ones I have played like Call of Duty 4 and Ghost Recon Advanced warfighter are the best. Also the console plays Blue Ray discs so watching a movie on this plus a high def. television is awesome. I have tried the Xbox 360 and Wii systems and they just don't compare. It's true you get what you pay for in this case. The console comes with one Sixaxxis wireless controller that is as smooth a controller I've seen yet. An additional controller will run you 50.00 but I think that's reasonabe considering the 2 player modes on most games are alot of fun. It requires alot of breathing room to stay cool so putting it in a tight space isn't recommended. All in all I'd recommend this console over all of the competition if you don't mind paying 600.00 for entertainment. I have also heard that Sony is going to discontinue the 80 gig version. I don't know if this is true or not or how it will bear on those of us who have already bout the 80 gig version. There is also a 40 and 60 gig version too, but I don't think they are backwards compatiable like the 80.
