The Sony Playstation 3 80GB system has got to be the best gaming system that has ever been created. Not only can you play games that are completely awesome, but also play them online with other PS3 owners for FREE. It has it's own internet browser that you can have up to 6 windows open at a time, text messaging with your PS3 buddies, Headset capabilities as well as video capabilities.
Another great thing about the PS3 80GB system is that it is backwards compatible, which means that you can play not only your PS3 games but your PS2 and PS1 games on the system as well. If you don't have any PS2 or PS1 games, you can download them straight to your system using the Playstation Network. If you want the backwards compatibility then you will have to buy the 80GB system because the 40GB system does not come with this perk.
I personally have never been more addicted to a video gaming system. The graphics of other systems have never caught my attention, as I like things to look realistic. With the PS3 system that is exactly what I get, a realistic feel. That is due to the fact that it is a High Definition system. It also plays Blu-Ray DVDs, which may be costly but are worth the watch. I find that renting them is a lot cheaper, as you can get them for only about fifty cents more a rental if going to Blockbuster Video.
I thought I was wasting my money when I decided to buy this system, but I was very wrong. I even waited until I got an extra 20% off at my local Wal-Mart for being an employee before I purchased the system, thinking that it wouldn't be worth the $500. Now knowing what a great system this is, I would go out and buy it again, and pay the full price of it. I do wish that I were able to play it a little more though, but my boyfriend is just as addicted as I am.
My boyfriend's favorite game to play on the PS3 system is Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare. He plays everyday, for at least an hour a day. A great perk of this game, is that it has online play, where you can play with as many as 18 players at once. Some other games that have online capabilities are Uncharted : Drake's Fortune, and Madden Football 08'. There are many others but those are the ones that we have played or want to play.
There are also other games that you can play, but they are not equipped for online play. Some of those games are, Assassin's Creed, Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End, Beowulf, Heavenly Sword, and many others. I personally enjoy the Role Playing Games as they tend to have the better graphics.
In conclusion, the Sony Playstation 80GB system is a great buy. It will really surprise me if they can create something better then this system, as it is the best I have ever seen. I highly recommend buying this product.
