Epinions Sony PSP is my Favorite Toy

by  toiletoctopus,  Sep 1, 2008
Pros: Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, Controls, Capabilities
Cons: Battery Life, Memory Card does not come with it
The Bottom Line: This is the ultimate handheld video game system.
Review: As someone who is a bit older than most active video game fanatics, I have experienced the "back in the day" systems of NEO GEO and the Original Game Boy. These always brought me a lot of joy as a youth, and I still think fondly back to ...

Epinions Gen 2 PSP Introduces Improvements, Capabilities that Appeal to All Techno Geeks

by  dncswknivs,  Dec 9, 2007
Pros: Very capable multi-media device. Excellent graphics generation. Wi-Fi capable.
Cons: Slow load time on games. Clunky web browser.
The Bottom Line: While priced higher than similar hand-held gaming systems, the extra capabilities make the PSP-2000 a worthwhile purchase.
Review: On countless occasions I have been subjected to airport purgatory during a layover with nothing more engaging to do than watch the rehashed news reel, having already exhaustively played through my MP3 collection. No one should have to fear this situation ...

Epinions Excellent gaming and media device, but not everything is perfect.

by  tigerous,  Jul 12, 2008
Pros: excellent graphics, great games, large list of multimedia and PDA functions, near limitless potential
Cons: construction is flimsy, requires a seperate memory stick, poor sound quality, long load times
The Bottom Line: Individuals looking for more than just a game system should consider the PSP their first choice. Individuals looking for something more kid friendly should probably look to the Nintendo DS.
Review: I have been a PSP owner since the system originally launched. Recently, I decided to upgrade my original PSP to the new slim model when they released the red God of War version. However, I still have one first gen PSP as well. While many things have been ...

Epinions The PSP: Impressive And Functional

by  s68x,  Jun 24, 2008
Pros: Large, high-quality screen & graphics, many useful functions, relatively inexpensive considering the features, PS3 connectivity.
Cons: Can be confusing for some, weak web browser, games, accessories & memory can get expensive.
The Bottom Line: A great feature-packed gadget for gamers and people who are out and about often, but it's somewhat complicated at times so it's not for younger children.
Review: The original PSP was released in May of 2005 and was a big success, selling over 31 million worldwide. The PSP features more mature games rather than family and child-oriented games the DS does as well as much better graphics, which many have said are ...

by  saraab,  Aug 5, 2008
Pros: Perfect screen, limitless multimedia capability, built in internet browser
Cons: Separate memory cards REQUIRED, weak speakers and sound, short battery life
The Bottom Line: The PSP is an excellent multimedia system with a great library of games. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy it.
Review: The Sony PSP Slim is my first venture into PSP gaming. I never owned the first PSP, although I have had the opportunity to fuss around with a cousin's original PSP. I can say that the PSP slim is MUCH, MUCH lighter than the original model. The old ...

Epinions a real portable entertainment system

by  diatomics,  May 5, 2008
Pros: great portable entertainment on the go.
Cons: Bad Game titles
The Bottom Line: Definitely recommended, it's value for money and really light for you to fit into your jeans pocket or even your bag.
Review: Sony does it again, this time with a slimmer version of what they released 2 years ago. They really did a good job in shedding the weight of the portable system.Sony adding the Video Out was a plus point. It really feels a lot lighter than the previous ...

Epinions oh i guess I don't hat video games!

by  notary2go,  May 22, 2008
Pros: Great Picture Clarity and graphics, Multi-function unit games, music, photos, movies and more.
Cons: The extra games are costly when 1st released
The Bottom Line: You'll love this game system even if you haven't owned one since the Atari 2600. The picture quality is GREAT and it does so much more than play games!
Review: This is so much more than a video game. If you think the price tag is high for a handheld than you haven't looked at one in person. When I saw the clarity of my Nephews PSP screen I almost fainted. Better picture than any of my high dollar portable ...

Epinions More than a game system, with an impressive library.

by  flindingo,  Dec 13, 2007
Pros: Big Bright Screen, Full Internet, Great Games, TV-Out, Movie & Music Playback.
Cons: Single Analog Joystiq limits some games. Flash limitted to version 6. Seems a bit fragile.
The Bottom Line: If you're a gamer / tech junkie, this system is ideal.
Review: The PSP has been one of those systems I've watched from afar, it never really did anything I was interested in until recently. I own almost every console from Atari 2600 on, and it took me a good 3 years to finally pick up a PSP. I've been very happy ...

Pros: LCD screen is crystal clear. Gameplay is easy.
Cons: Poor battery life.
The Bottom Line: The PSP is a lot of fun. I bought it originally for my business trips, but I now find myself playing it at home.
