An Almost Great Product...

Date of Review:  Oct 23, 2000
Review: I have always thought a MiniDisc player would be nice to have, and when this one was offered to me for $70 I had to take it. The MZ-R37 is a very sleek, very sexy looking device. Its about 3/4 the size of a CD jewel case and very lightweight. The...

The Joy of MiniDiscs

Date of Review:  Jul 12, 2001
The Bottom Line: Not a breeze to record, but it's a joy to use. If your taste in music stays fairly static, and portability is a must, you've found your match.
Review: I?ll admit it; I?m attached to my music. It holds sway over my moods-and on those early-morning jaunts across campus to a class I?m not thrilled about, a good swig of music is just as effective as the classic American morning dose of caffeine.

MiniDisc? or Mp3?

Date of Review:  Nov 4, 2000
Review: I got this unit, and for a while I thought.. "why does mine cost more then that one, when they both look alike" Well the answer is simple. When I first bought this minidisc player/recorder, I had no idea it had the cable to connect directly to my...

All you need for portable audio

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2000
Review: I asked "Santa" for this MD player for Christmas. The unit was a little over 200 dollars and well worth it. To start off with when they say "virtually unshockable" they mean it. While I have yet to jog or skate with this player I can say that I have...

Workout buddy?

Date of Review:  Aug 18, 2000
Review: I bought my mini disc player to take to the gym. I had a walkman, but I never bought tapes, so I was pretty much stuck listening to the radio all the time. If you workout, you know they never play the kind of music to get you motivated on the radio...

A great choice, if not a little complicated.

Date of Review:  Aug 21, 2000
Review: The Sony MZ-R37 is everything a good MD player should be: Slim, Compact, Tough and reliable. It also sounds great, which is probably the most important thing!

So why buy the MZ-R37? Well, it is probably one of the best choice for its price...

why buy an MP3 When you can have this?

Date of Review:  Nov 2, 2000

Classic for the masses

Date of Review:  Apr 2, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you see it, grab it. Robust mechanical design that'll last as long as your Leica. A cost reduced model with high end basics, such as audio quality.
Review: Purchased: November, 2000
Review date: April 2nd, 2002

I've been using my trusty MZ-R37 for one and a
half years now, and I wish to comment on the great
design.

First, the flaws that might bother you. The

The Best Purchase I've Ever Made

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2001
The Bottom Line: The MZ-R37SPC is not only one of the cheapest minidisc player/recorders, but one of the best. It's easy to use, packed with features, and very convenient.
Review: When I decided that I needed a way to take my mp3's with me when I was away from the computer, I began looking into some devices to do this. Immediately, I was attracted to mp3 players because they seemed the best way to get mp3s from the PC to a...
