Stay away from these....

I bought these headphones after trying them on at the store and thinking they were very comfortable. Unfortunately though they were not hooked up to any sound source so that I could hear the quality. Not a big fan of Sony I still figured they couldn't be that bad and for what I was planning on using them for (listening to music at a low volume while at work) they would at least be tolerable so I bought them anyway. Sadly I was very wrong. Only sitting a few feet away from the charging/transmitting base I received a terrible amount of static right from the start. Almost everytime I would move my head I would also experience a loud hiss or whine. Occasionally I would even lose the signal entirely and experience an EXTREMELY loud burst of static and would have to hit the tune button in order to sync everything back up. After trying several different locations for the base I was still very unsatisfied and just returned them.
