Impressive...
Pros:
Clear, crisp, pure image, especially on 1080p channels.
Cons:
Warm up takes too long; channels take longer than "normal" TV's to switch. Speakers.
The Bottom Line:
Good product. Let's see how long it lasts.

Author's Review
Bought this TV a year ago for a good price, but I'm surprised at how much lower it actually got.
We don't watch a lot of TV or cable, so we purchased an RCA digital antenna to go along with it and for most channels, we get excellent reception and amazing quality images. Antenna was about $50 and picks up most local channels and even Spanish TV.
At the store, the salespeople kept warning us how 55 inches might be too big for our family room and to consider going smaller, but it's just right. Actually, we even thought that we could have gone to a 60 inch and been ok. With HD quality TV, bigger really is better. You can't go back to regular TV after watching HD. However, remember to change the setting from "brillant" to "normal" (or whatever they call it); the first few days, we got headaches from the TV's colors being too bright and rich.
One thing that slightly bothers me, though, is that I'm kind of impatient and waiting for the TV to warm up (takes about 30-40 seconds from being cold to getting the full picture). Also, the channels take a few split seconds longer longer to change. I've gotten used to it, but if you like channel surfing, this isn't the TV for you. Further, placement of buttons on the remote could have been more strategic as well. But overall, good TV, for the money, and haven't had any problems yet.
Lastly, speakers are kind of weak. Of course, with most TVs of this standard, you ought to get a separate home theater system, but don't expect too much from the speakers.
