I love my Sony KDS-R60XBR2. First off, I also have Comcast Digital Cable and I use a Comcast DVR, I have a Insignia 6.1 Surround Sound Home Theater System, and a Playstation 3.
This TV is amazing when it comes to High Definition. I get 1080i signal on HD shows from Comcast and the TV up-converts the signal to 1080p which makes the picture fantastic. The color, clarity, sharpness.... AMAZING!
This TV also has many great features like a Freeze function and Split-screen Picture and Picture. It also has a ton of customizable settings so you can adjust it to your liking.
The only drawback I've found on this TV is that Standard Def shows have some screen-noise and isn't that clear. But, with some setting changes, it's not bad. And besides, all HDTV have this issue. Luckily, more and more HD shows are becoming available.
This TV, in my opinion, is the best. When I watch High Def shows or play High Def games on my PS3, I'm blown away. Add a Home Theater Surround Sound System, and you're in heaven. I've done months of research trying to find the best HDTV, and I chose this. I highly recommend it!
