Sony 46 in Flat Screen television: WOW.

by   yakkowarner ,  Dec 23, 2006
Pros: Large, beautiful picture, HD
Cons: Blacks aren’t as good as a CRT
The Bottom Line: If you have the money this is the television to get.
Review: This is another favorite child from Sony’s line of flat panel televisions. It is beautiful, easy to use, and has plenty of features to keep the tech-savvy happy for quite some time. The view. For an LCD that picture was very good. Change ...

Excellent HDTV

by   phoenix55 ,  May 27, 2007
Pros: Excellent 1080p picture at a reasonable price.
Cons: Could be better with 3 HDMI inputs.
The Bottom Line: The best deal available for a 1080p HDTV.
Review: I spent about 3 months researching HDTV's and trying to view as many models as possible in local stores before settling on the 46V2500. Overall, I am very pleased. The picture is excellent with input from a Toshiba HD A2. The picture with HD signals ...

As of today, the best pic I could find.

by   keithme ,  Feb 26, 2007
Pros: Muted frame, excellent color, individual source picture settings, excellent contrast, excellent sound technology--
Cons: price is a bit steep for a television
Review: Well, I bought a Westinghouse 40 720p. Was not crazy about it but the price was right. I'd viewed the Sony at BB, CC and Sams. Finally bought it at Sams--open box, 2k. 46 inch makes it an official big screen. 40 did not feel like it but 46 does at ...

Simply Amazing. Super bright, 1080P, Incredible colors.

by   spankbot ,  Apr 21, 2008
Pros: Intense colors, super bright, 1080p (blu-ray), deep dark blacks, economical (bang for the buck).
Cons: This display is poor with SD content.
Review: This is our third HD display. We also currently own a Sony WEGA KV-34HS510 as well as a new Samsung 46" 120hz display. We only use these displays with HD (720i) content or better. By far, the Sony is the winner when it comes to displaying HD material. ...

Impressive!

by   novida ,  Apr 9, 2007
Pros: Post-calibration picture is great, even on non-HDTV channels!
Cons: Splurge, again, for a great external audio system for improved sound!
Review: This is the best alternative to Sony's XBR series. Picture calibration is required. You have to be patient and spend some time tweaking and calibrating the settings for your specific viewing environment. There are many helpful forums with hints ...

Sony Bravia, WOW

by   mclaus1 ,  Nov 27, 2007
Pros: Easy to use, taller wide screen, HDMI inputs
Cons: no XBR available
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this TV to anyone looking at picking up an LCD of this size. It's easy to use, and has the Sony name behind it.
Review: I have eyed this television set for quite sometime before I finally picked one up from a local electronics store. The Bravia line from Sony has yet to disappoint me. This TV is easy to use, has enough HDMI hook ups for my sources, and is the perfect ...

Great buy

by   coachcisco ,  Apr 14, 2007
Pros: Picture quality is top notch
Cons: TV cost more at BestBuy than an online store, but after shipping cost were similar.
Review: I bought this television from BestBuy 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I am using a Denon Receiver with Polk Audio speakers so I can't comment on the sound from TV. With my system, the sound is awesome. I upgraded my cable to HD quality and it is ...

Very disappointed with this TV

by   bonelec ,  Apr 17, 2007
Pros: Looks good, price is reasonable
Cons: watery edges of moving objects in picture
The Bottom Line: Look at the TV in a store before you buy it.
Review: Do not buy this TV. The edges of the images are watery/distorted. The more motion in the scene, ie. a football game, the worse the picture gets. Three different HD sources using component and HDMI inputs were used to verify the problem was in the TV. The ...
