Incredible picture - Great Price - It's a SONY –

I purchased this set new, in the box through a private seller on E-bay. It's labeled as a KDL-40SL130 which is the same as the KDL-40S3000, just re-labeled as it’s offered for sale solely through Costco and Sam's Club. My first out of the box impression was, WOW – a 40" HDTV that weighs just over 40lbs. Super clean lines and easy to understand instructions, First impressions: loving it.. I plugged in my basic HD antenna (a cheapie RCA) and ran auto program and "poof" - found 40 HD channels, which came across 10x better than on my old 30" LG HD set. This picture is absolutely second to none. I’m not running HD cable, so I rely solely on over-the-air local HD programming, most of which is 720p or 1080i format. This unit receives both in ABSOLUTE clarity. You can actually see how much make-up Stone Phillips (Dateline NBC) actually wears. Words simply can’t describe the sharpness and clarity of this television. I love the simple control settings. Two quick pushed on the remote and the image / sound will change to either a preset or a variable setting of your choice. It doesn't get much easier than that.. I almost forgot to mention that the "MS Vista" animated like menu is really cool and easy to navigate. With a plethora of inputs and TWO HDMI connections, this system will cover all bases. I know with only one day of use it's somewhat premature to submit such a gleaning review. I'm simply so impressed with this set out of the box, I just had to offer my initial epinion.
