Sony IT-M804 4-Line Corded Phone

Technical support for this phone is horrendous. I called to get information on warranty and got a computer generated run-around that resulted in no contact with a real person. Only a computer that asked questions irrelevant to my case. I have five of these phones, just recently purchased, but they are going back. I'll be going to a GE alternative. It was my second choice, but at least the GE folks will talk to me. Every attempt . . . including tries to get to a person through different phone numbers and departments ended in a recording directing me to a 900 support number that would bill me $14.95 for a simple product question. Wasted over an hour of my time.

Sony, get a clue. If you want to sell your products, make yourselves accessible for quick questions. I will never consider a Sony product again, and I suspect anyone who has had the same experience with your web site and customer phone support numbers will feel the same.
