Solid body. Sturdy. Huge antenna. Does a great job picking up stations where other radios have failed me. 4" speaker is great. Get a stereo to mono adapter from Radio Shack for a few dollars and you then can use your walkman headphones. Has a high/low tone button. Simple to operate, on off button is on top, band is in the front and everything else on the left side. Radio has a handle, however it fits in your hand nicely. Balanced, bottom heavy, does not tip over easy. Well worth the low price it sells for. Weather band and TV band work well when around a major city. Cord stores in the back.
