If you are on a budget, then Hot Shots 3 offers basically the same experience as Hot Shots Fore! But if you are a fan you will enjoy this game.

Although not dramatically different from Hot Shots 3, Hot Shots Fore offers more fun for the addicts and newbies to the game. The graphics have been enhanced but you will notice that many of the courses are the same as in Hot Shots 3, with the change being the better graphic detail. Aside from the slightly better graphics and the new ability to do online play, there haven't been too many changes or updates to the game, considering it has been over 2 years since Hot Shots 3 was released.
Hot Shots Fore! offers a single player game, where you play against one of the AI characters. If you beat the character, you can then play as that character. You can also play against a human opponent. There is a tournament mode whereby winning will unlock new courses and goodies.
There is also a "mini mode" which allows you to play a miniature golf game. What is different about the mini golf from Hot Shots 3 is that it keeps record of the best scores for each hole and gives you a "rating".
Like Hot Shots 3, you earn points based on how well you play. These points can be exchanged for better clubs, balls, and other game enhancements.
The biggest change that Fore! has over Hot Shots Golf 3 is the inclusion of online play. You can play games with another player or compete in online tournaments. If this is something that appeals to you, then it is reason to buy Hot Shots Fore instead of buying Hot Shots 3 (at a cheaper price).
Hot Shots Fore is not groundbreakingly different than Hot Shots 3, but why fix what isn't broken! If you loved Hot Shots 3 and want to continue the fun with new characters and some new courses, then you will love Hot Shots 4. If you have never played Hot Shots and are on a budget, you can buy Hot Shots 3 and have basically the same experience. But if the appeal of online play is what you are looking for, you can only find it in this latest version.
Although Hot Shots Fore! is not too different from Hot Shots 3, I can't say that I was disappointed.
