Product Review

Excellent performance and value for the money

by   misiozor ,   Nov 7, 2005

Pros:  Excellent value for the money + Supports Ni-MH accus + Supports TTL with Sony DSC-V3

Cons:  Longer time between flashes when using Ni-MH

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

Since I was tired with very bad performance of the flash build into my Sony DSC-V3 I decided to purchase this one.
I've bought it new on ebay for $129.95.
The very important positive surprise is that it DOES SUPPORT TTL. It does that only with the newest Sony models like for example my Sony DSC-V3. The manual says that one should use only 1.5V alkaline batteries. I've bought 1.2V Ni-MH 2100 mA accus and it also works fine. The time between flashes is probably longer than with alkaline batteries but I can live with that.
