Date of Review:  Feb 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: A pricey but necessary extra for your digital camera
Review: I'm not a professional photographer, so why did I need an external flash? For one thing I can't stand red eye! Every digital camera I bought has produced "demon shots." In-camera red eye reduction has always been worthless in my case, why even offer...

Excellent performance and value for the money

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2005
Review: Since I was tired with very bad performance of the flash build into my Sony DSC-V3 I decided to purchase this one.
I've bought it new on ebay for $129.95.
The very important positive surprise is that it DOES SUPPORT TTL. It does that only...

The HVL-F32X is nothing special for DSC-F282 Owners

Date of Review:  Jul 10, 2004
The Bottom Line: Too expensive for what you get. Compare to the $79 Vivitar 285 or the $69 Sunpak 383, which have the same basic functions.
