Worth My Money

Date of Review:  Jun 24, 2006
Review: I picked up a pair of these at Office Depot for $40 recently after a friend recommended them. The noise cancellation effect really gave my previous headphones (some old earplug types) a kick in the butt. I generally use these late at night on my...

Not bad if $35 but hmmmmm if $80

Date of Review:  Dec 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: Not a bad pair of $35 headset. Surprisingly ! Not a great pair of $89 headphone. So price will determine how satisfied you are.

Great deal!

Date of Review:  Feb 17, 2008
The Bottom Line: Buy them, but make sure you have plenty of AAA batteries on hand.
Review: I originally bought these headphones to use on airplane flights. However, they are so comfortable, and the sound quality is so good, that I routinely use them around the house or yard, with my iPod!

The best feature of these...

Low-end of noise cancelling headphone market disappoints

Date of Review:  Apr 17, 2009
The Bottom Line: If you REALLY need to stay in this price range, then in-flight movies or music will be acceptable and better than non-NC headphones, but I recommend better headphones.
Review: This was my first set of noise canceling headphones. I received these as part of a rewards program and didn t really know what to expect.

General info on noise canceling headphones:

Keep in mind that no set of noise canceling (NC)...

Not good in a plane!!

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2006
Review: I brought these as a frequent flier. I was concerned about turning up the volume on my CD player, and the in-flight system to drown out the background noise with conventional headphones.

These seemed great value, and the box had a plane on...

The Bottom Line: highly recommended, expecially for PSP owners.
Review: nI bought these headphones along with my Toshiba DVD player last March when I had a few red-eye flights scheduled for the rest of the year. I wanted something reasonably priced, with good and loud sound quality. I wasn't too hopeful on the noise...

A sound economic proposal - or an economic sound proposal

Date of Review:  Oct 27, 2006

You do the math.
Review: After nearly a year of travel-free employment, things have changed in a big way for me, and I'll be logging over 30,000 air miles in two months.

I've never been one of those effete air travelers who bring along their pillow, Evian water,...

Good but not great

Date of Review:  Nov 16, 2005
The Bottom Line: It is an okay set of headsets, but I would recommend these at a $35 USD price point, not at $50 USD.
Review: When I finally became cool and took possession of an iPOD, I decided to spend alittle $$$ on some headphones. I had seen the Bose NC (noise cancellation) headphones and thought, "Woah, these are cool, but I can't afford a three digit sum to fulfill...
