Pros: Substantial noise cancellation; inexpensive; reasonably compact
Cons: At this price point, none.
The Bottom Line: Sony vs. Bose... 90% of the benefit at 10% of the cost.
You do the math. Review: After nearly a year of travel-free employment, things have changed in a big way for me, and I'll be logging over 30,000 air miles in two months. I've never been one of those effete air travelers who bring along their pillow, Evian water, eyeshades, ...

Pros: Incredibly comfortable, noise cancellation comes cheap, the AAA battery seems to last for eternity.
Cons: Slight sound leakage, and the cord could stand to be longer (in my opinion.)
Review: I picked up a pair of these at Office Depot for $40 recently after a friend recommended them. The noise cancellation effect really gave my previous headphones (some old earplug types) a kick in the butt. I generally use these late at night on my ...

Pros: Good sound quality, good battery life, airplane adapter, cheap!
Cons: Microphone placement, slightly inferior noise cancelling
The Bottom Line: A good entry-level noise cancelling headphone that is a great start for someone unsure of whether they need these at all.
Review: Initial Impressions I know a lot of people will disagree with me here and before anybody shoots me down, ask yourself whether you have ever compared each of Sony's noise cancelling headphones side by side at the same time. Most electronics stores ...
