best picture when hooked up right

I bought this tv about a month ago and i hope i have good luck with it i compared all the tvs at circuit city, best buy, wal mart, and this was the tv with the best picture, and sound for the price range. picture quality was better that all of the tvs even more expensive ones. i got an open box deal which cost me $239 before tax. there was a few things i wish it had 1 being audio outputs in order to hook up a receiver, because now i have to run everything through my vcr/ dvd player. number 2 being the noise from the tv being on is louder that all others, that high pitched noise. when the volume is up you don't notice it. easy to use!
