Good Sound Bad Bass

The SRS-A27 Computer Speakers are a great little pair of speakers. I actually don't use them as computer speakers, I use them to boost the sound on my portable DVD player and they do marvels.

My little sister had and used these speakers before I bought them for my own personal use; the main thing that caught my eye with these speakers was how portable they are. My sister would tote these speakers around with her everywhere. To school, to girls camp, and even on family vacations!

The features of these speakers are as follows: on/off power button, tunable knob for volume control, and the option of powering the unit through either a DC power in jack or four double A batteries. The volume control on these speakers works very well. By turning the volume knob to the right they give you enough volume to annoy a lunchroom full of people and if you turn the knob to the left it turns the volume all the way down so that you can't hear it at all.

These speakers work very well with all songs and modes of equalizer settings except for one. When you start to put a lot of bass into the mix they start to have a hard time and they make that hollow "BAAHH" sound that some speakers make when they get too much bass.

The bass is the only problem that these speakers have, other than that they are just the most perfect little speakers that you could ever want.
